This Community, within our larger Parish Community, is made up of people who speak the many Filipino languages. They gather together monthly to support each other.
Simbang Gabi at St Margaret Mary
Though they celebrate with the larger community at the English Sunday Mass, they participate in the traditional Simbang Gabi (Christmas Celebrations) and a weekly Mass and Devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the Filipino Language. In addition, there is a monthly mass for the Filipino community at Saint Margaret Mary on the 4th Sunday of the month
Simbang Gabi is a Philippine tradition of celebrating a novena of nine Advent masses, in preparation for the celebration of Christmas.
