Education is an important part of our parish. Along with our Pre-K through 8th school and Marian Central Catholic High School, we have Religious Education for children Pre-K-5, Faith Groups for 6-8, and Youth Ministry for Junior High & High School students.
Saint Margaret Mary School (Pre-K through 8)

Marian Central Catholic High School
Marian Central Catholic High School is a college preparatory Catholic school. Marian shares with the parents and parishes of the McHenry Deanery in the teaching mission of the Church. Our school provides students with an education infused with Catholic Christian values designed to promote religious, spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development.
Elementary RE (Pre-K through 5)
Catholic families who choose to send their children to one or our community public schools must also choose religious education for their children. Parish families are invited and encouraged to enroll their children in our parish Religious Education (RE) Program (formerly known as Catechism class or CCD).
Junior High Faith Groups (6 through 8)
Faith Groups is the Junior High Religious Education Program for our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Not only does it have a different name, it's a totally different Religious Education program. Faith Groups was created to allow youth to discover their faith in hands on activities and open discussion. Each grade level has an individual curriculum that builds on previous years in RE.
Sacramental Preparation
Sacramental Preparation is provided through our education programs. Elementary Religious Education prepares children in 2nd grade for their First Confession and First Communion. Preparation for Confirmation is provided by our Youth Ministry to students in the 9th grade.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School is held each summer for one week. It is a great opportunity for children (Pre-K through 5) to grow in their faith and learn about God's love for them while having a blast! Vist the Vacation Bible School page or Download the flyer today!
Youth Ministry (Junior High & High School)
Youth Ministry is open to all families and youth of our parish in grades 6-12. There are socials, outings, retreats, service and community building activities to participate in. Come enjoy the time with friends, food and fun. We are one community in God and want all to feel welcome to come play and pray. They also in charge of coordinating 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Religious Education (RE), called Faith Groups, and the Confirmation Formation process.
