MASS FOR FAMILIES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. Families who have children with disabilities have unique challenges in our world. The Lord invites all his children to come to Him. Let us come together in prayer with our special intentions at Holy Mass at 7:00 PM at Saint Margaret Mary.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS BLOOD DRIVE. 7:30 AM UNTIL 1:00 PM IN MCDONNELL HALL. To give blood you must be 17 years old or older and in good health and bring a photo ID. (You can also give blood if you are age 16 with the written consent of a parent). Please make arrangements to join us for this event and give the gift of life.


CATECHETICAL SUNDAY MASS. 11:00 AM Mass, we will honor those who share in the evangelizing and teaching mission of the Church through a special rite of commissioning and blessing. Please pray for all catechists.


KNIGHTS CHARITY SOFTBALL CLASSIC. 3:00 PM behind the school. Join us for our first Charity Softball Game with the Algonquin/Lake In The Hills Fire Dept. to help them raise money for MDA. A great family event is planned to include the game, food to purchase (hot dogs, brats, chips, soft drinks), music, and a inflatable (for the kids to enjoy). Please come out and support our Knights and fellow parishioners as we challenge the Fire Department to an exciting game of softball for a great cause. Watch a great game and enjoy the day with your family and friends.


MEN'S CRHP WEEKEND (September 27-28). At the Ministry Center, here at Saint Margaret Mary. The cost is free, the food is outstanding, and the company awesome. Don’t miss this chance to engage in a weekend to remember. Could the Holy Spirit be calling you? SAINT MARGARET MARY CENTENNIAL MEETING. This October, our Parish will begin its year-long celebration of 100 years as a faith community in Algonquin & Lake in the Hills! But with every big event, many hands make light work, and today we’re inviting you to consider helping out in some aspect of the Centennial. Please join us at 7:30 in the McDonnell Hall. If you are still interested in volunteering for one of our teams it’s never too late, so please consider joining us, and bring a friend too!

St. Vincent de Paul Walk for the Poor

Join us on Saturday, Oct. 4 for our walk through the tree-lined church neighborhood and on the bike path. Registration begins at 7:00 AM. The walk begins at 8:00. Save the Date: Ladies Fall Luncheon

Catholic Assistance Missions (CAM) is hosting another Ladies Fall Luncheon. Please join us on Saturday, November 1, at the Golf Club of Illinois, 11am to 3 pm. Your attendance will help us raise funds to support the CAM school in Haiti. Pull out your calendars, call some of your friends. Plan to join us for an afternoon of fun, food, and friends. There will be silent auction items to bid on, a 50/50 raffle, and lots of items for sale. We think you can do a lot of Christmas shopping that day. Hope to see you on Nov. 1st.
