MERGE MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY:
Middle School Ministry program for 6th-8th graders focused on dynamic faith experiences, authentic friendships in Christ, and small group faith sharing. Staring in September.
FIRST FRIDAY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION. First Friday Masses are at 7:00 AM and 9:15 AM. There is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM with closing prayers and Benediction. FAITH ON FIRE! St. Margaret Mary Stories through the eyes of Fr. Paul White. Fr. Paul, the pastor of Holy Apostles Parish, was ordained a priest in 1989, and his first assignment was St. Margaret Mary. Fr. Paul returns for an evening to share his fondest and often funny recollections of the children and parishioners with his insightful and colorful perspective! Please join Fr. Paul for this very special evening. All are welcome. 7:30 PM in McDonnell Hall.
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP. You are not alone. You don’t have to grieve in secret just because everyone else wants you to get back to your normal life. We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Ministry Center. If you have questions, please contact Deacon Don Miller at 847-915-8474.
ANNUAL KNIGHTS CHARITY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT FOR MDA. Start time 10 AM at Silverstone Park off Cobblestone Dr. in Carpentersville. 4 Team Tournament featuring the Algonquin Fire Department, Your Knights of Columbus and the Huntley Fire Department. Refreshments will be available. Come cheer on the AFD, HFD and KofC as they play their hearts out in Support of “Fill the Boot” for MDA. It will be a fun filled day of 16” Softball Friendly Competition!
ST. VINCENT de PAUL FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK. The 2015 walk will take place on September 19, 2015. We are looking for committee members for the up-coming Walk for the Poor, and volunteers & participants for the day of. Please let us know if you are available to help that weekend or if you are able to man the tables after Mass the weekend of August 29-30 or September 12-13. In addition, our first committee meeting is Monday, August 17th in the Ministry Center at 8:00 PM. WE NEED YOU to help us prepare for this important fund-raising activity. 2015-16 school year for all grade levels preschool-8th grade. If
you are interested in giving your children the gift of a Catholic
