Missions
Haiti
Several of our parishioners have been on mission trips to Haiti, the Carribean island nation that for so many years has been the victim of war, disease, famine, tyrants and extreme poverty. The following are samples of journals and articles depicting the thoughts and witnesses while visiting one of the poorest countries in the World.

Peru

Patricia and Edward Geiss, who have been long time members of our parish, have previously worked in the missions of Peru. Now that their children are all grown, and they have some additional time, they have returned to the missions of Peru again. This is their third trip in recent years and they have been kind enough to share some daily experiences and pictures with us. We cannot all be missionaries who travel to distant countries, but we can support our missionaries with our prayers, good works and financial support.
Ed and Pat, who both speak Spanish, are working with poor familes in the desert area of Peru.
