2nd Annual Summer Family Camping
Friday, August 14- Sunday , August 16, 2009
This can either be a weekend or one day (all day Saturday) camping experience. Friday night camping begins at 4:00pm and camp will break down at 9:00am so that you may make it to 11:00 am mass. If you are new to camping or don't want to spend the night, join us for planned activities on Saturday from 10:00am until 9:00pm. Food for all meals will be provided by the Pack.

Pack 152 will be joining the Knights of Columbus on their annual MR/LD fund raiser. Come out and support this worthy cause.

Back to School - Picnic
Sunday, September 20, 2009
Bring your family to the first pack event of the year. The picnic will be held at Towne Park in Algonquin from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. We’ll supply the hamburgers, hotdogs, fixings and activities for the kids. Please bring chairs, blankets and beverages for your family and something to share.
If your last name begins with A-F, please bring a dessert.
If your last name begins with G-N, please bring side dish (ie.
salad, pasta salad, etc.)
If your last name begins with O-P, please bring fresh fruit.
If your last name begins with Q-Z, please bring
individually packaged snacks (chips, pretzels or goldfish, etc).

Football Jamboree
Saturday, October 10th
Pack 152 will be hosting a Football Jamboree on October 10th from 9am until 4pm at the St. Margaret Mary Sports Fields. This event will consist of a flag football tournament for adults (over 16) and a Punt, Pass and Kick competition for scouts and kids. The Chicago Slaughter, indoor professional football team will be participating as a sponsor as well. Proceeds from the event will go directly toward our Pack 152 operating budget to help subsidize Pack and Den events for the scouts, and to the St. Margaret Mary Parish to be used as to assist those parish families in need of tuition assistance for the Religious Education program and St. Margaret Mary School.

Hayride
Sunday, October 11th
This year's Hayride will be held from 6-8 PM at Randall Oaks on Sunday October 11th.
The hayride starts at 6:00pm. After the hayride, please join us for good cheer and s'mores around the campfire.

Ice Skating
Sunday November 22, 2009
Pack 152 will be going ice skating at the
Leafs Ice Centre
in West Dundee, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Come out for some family fun on ICE. Scouts can skate for free and the fee for family members is just $5. If you don't have ice skates, no problem; you can rent them for $1. The CENTRE recommends coming 30 minutes early to rent skates and get ready to hit the ice. Ice Skating FLYER

Chicago Wolves Game

Kick of the holiday vacation with this pack outing.
Come join us for a fun and exciting evening watching the Chicago Wolves Hockey team vs. Milwaukee at 7:00 pm.
We have a group of seats reserved for the center ice on the balcony.

Pinewood Derby
Friday, January 15, 2010
Pinewood Derby weigh-in will be held in McDonnell Hall from 6:30 to 8:00 PM . Bring your Derby cars and some extra weights (just in case).
Saturday January 16, 2010
Pinewood Derby Race will be held in McDonnell Hall at 12:00 PM (noon) for Tigers and Wolves, and 2:00 PM for Bears and Webelos. If you missed the weigh-in on Friday , "Day of the Race" weigh-ins will be accepted between 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM . Lunch will be available at a nominal cost. Come join the fun; bring your appetite and your Race Day spirit.

Scouts and Families are invited to attend an Evening of Celebration where we will honor the Rank Advancement of the Scouts of Pack 152! The evening will begin with a buffet dinner, followed by the Friends of Scouting Presentation. The highlight of the evening will be the Awards Advancement Ceremony as the boys “cross over the bridge” and advance in their rank!
The evening will conclude with an encore performance by entertainer Bobby “Circus Boy” Hunt from Ringling Bros Circus. He is a fabulous entertainer who has performed on the tonight show with Jay Leno, and has also been documented in Ripley's 'Believe it or Not' for riding the worlds' smallest bicycle. Circus Boy will surely impress our scouts!
Scout Sunday
Sunday, February 14th, 2010 at 11:00am Mass
This year, Boy Scout troop 152 will be joining us to recognize our boys for their religious achievements. Please have your sons to church by 10:45am to prepare for their entrance. Religious awards will be presented to the boys at the conclusion of Mass by Deacon Patrick Maher. We hope you can join us.
