The Catechism says "When we share in God's saving love, we understand that every need can become the object of petition. Christ, who assumed all things in order to redeem all things, is glorified by what we ask the Father in his name. It is with this confidence that St. James and St. Paul exhort us to pray at all times." (CCC 2633)
Many times, help is closer than you think and prayer is a powerful tool. The following are the most recent prayer requests as of July 9, 2010.
Prayers may remain posted indefinitely and are posted at the discretion of the Youth Ministry office.

June 2, 2010 From: Donna Dear Lord Jesus: I am asking that our friend, Joe and his family feel your presence during their time of need. Joe has been hospitalized for the last 5 months. I know that you have been with them as Joe has progressed from Inpatient to Kindred and back to Inpatient Rhab. Yesterday, staff found him pulseless and unresponsive. Everyone thought you were bringing him home to you. But, I guess that was not your plan, he is in ICU and stable. I pray that all of us can accept your will no matter what is in store for Joe and continue to love and praise you with all our heart and soul. |

Doctors advised to take hip replacement surgery to help with blood circulation in the hip area, but the surgery is very risky. There is a 50% chance of success. My age is only 23. August 19, 2009 From: Prayer I pray today on bended knee, in the hopes of finding faith again, Lord please do not abandon me, I need you dear Lord, my friend. I pray for all those around me, and pray for myself in hour of need, Lord, all lives can be a garden, please bless us by planting the seed. I pray for hope and faith now, as I feel mine is fading fast away, I pray for the serenity to accept, those things that I cannot change. I pray for courage to at least try, to change things so not the same. Lord, I pray for all the wisdom, to know the difference between, the serenity and the courage, that I truly deep within do need. I pray for those who need you now, those in need of work, may they find, I pray for those suffering illness, may you heal them deep inside. I pray for those who are hurting, may they feel your healing power, for sometimes we all do feel as if, life takes its toll hour by hour. Dear Lord, please watch over us, for we pray to you for your grace, watch over us until we reach you, our eternal life in your heavenly place. |
