What are Rebate Certificates? Merchants allow us to sell their gift card and gift certificates for the convenience of our parishioners. We are able to purchase them at a discounted price and sell them for the face value of the card -- you get dollar for dollar. The parish makes monies when you shop and it costs you no more than your time to pick up your REBATE certificates before shopping. How much does the parish make? It depends on the merchant. Each merchant gives a different percentage off the certificates. It averages about 4% to 5%. If you purchased $100 a week at the Jewel and use REBATE certificates to buy groceries, we would make $3. If 1000 families were to use REBATE to purchase groceries, we would make an additional $156,000 a year. What merchants cards / certificates do you regularly carry in REBATE? The following is the list of items and the denominations of the certificates we carry all the time:

Can I pre-order my REBATE certificate / gift cards? If you need larger amounts of some certificates/gift cards or they are sold out of a specific certificate/gift card, you may pre-order any of the certificates. All of the certificates/gift cards listed above are able to be purchased by pre-order. In addition, there are certificates/gift cards which are only available by being pre-ordered. The orders (with the payment) must be into the Parish Office by Sunday and the certificates/gift cards should be into the Parish Office by Thursday of the same week. These orders must be paid for at the time of ordering.
When are REBATE certificate / gift cards sold? Anytime the Parish Office is open, certificates are able to be purchased. For your convenience, REBATE certificates/gift cards are sold after all the weekend masses. The Parish Office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM. How can I pay for my REBATE certificates / gift cards? We accept checks and cash. We are unable to accept debit or credit cards for payment of REBATE. Can I pay my account balances on charges with REBATE? Only J C Penney and Kohls allows you to charge your purchases and pay your account with REBATE certificates. How can I place my pre-order of REBATE? 1. You may download the Pre-order Form, 2. Fill out the information 3. Write a check payable to Saint Margaret Mary (Remember certificates/gift cards comes in specific denomination [$10 , $20, $25] and your check needs to be written to the exact amount. 4. Fill out and bring the pre-order form with the check to the Parish Office by Sunday if you wish the certificates by Thursday of the same week. 5.
