Pastor: Reverend Michael J. Tierney   
Ordained a priest for the Rockford Diocese in 1967, Father Mike has been Pastor of Saint Margaret Mary since 1993 and a Pastor since 1982. He has BA Degree in Music and Philosophy from Loras College, M Div. (Masters of Divinity) from Saint Mary Seminary and University, MA in Education from the University of Detroit and has completed course work toward Doctorate of Ministry from Saint Mary Seminary and University. He taught for 17 years in Catholic High School, 9 years of which he was the Assistant Principal and Head of the Religious Studies Department.

PAROCHIAL VICARS (Associate Pastors)


Reverend Antoni Kretowicz   
Ordained priest in 1987. He has been at Saint Margaret Mary since July of 2006. He was born in Poland and raised in a traditional, Catholic family of six children and completed all the stages of his education and seminary formation in Poland. Father has served in several diocese: in Bialorus, the former Republic of Soviet Union, South Africa from 1993 to 2000, and the USA. He joined the Diocese of Rockford six year ago. Father Toni

Assisting Priest in Polish: Reverend Edward Staniukiewicz, OFM Conv.

Father has been at Saint Margaret Mary since August of 2005. He comes to the Diocese of Rockford and our Parish from Poland. He was born in 1961 in Kamienna Gora. He attended Franciscan High School in Legnica, Franciscan Seminary in Krakow and Papal Academy of Theology in Krakow, and joined the Religious Order of the Conventual Franciscan in 1980. He was ordained a priest on May 23rd 1987 in Krakow.  He has served in Poland at Glogowek, Dabrowa Gornicza, Jaslo, Kalwaria Paclawska and Sanok. During the last four years he was in Krakow, serving as treasurer of the St. Antony of Padua and Bl. James of Strepa Franciscan province in Poland.
