| Fergal has been the Music and Liturgy Director at Saint Margaret Mary since 1998. He has a B. Mus. in Music from the National University of Ireland in Cork, and a Diploma in Sacramental Liturgy from the Pontifical University at Maynooth, Ireland. He volunteered for 7 years in music ministry and has worked as a professional musician/liturgist since 1993. (He is also Director of the Rockford Diocesan Chorale and Musical Director for Diocesan Liturgies as well as President of the Southwest Chicago Chapter of the Choristers Guild). He belongs to the following Professional Organizations: National Association of Pastoral Musicians, the Chorister Guild (a national association for Directors of Children's choirs) and National Forum of Liturgical Composers. Fergal has composed Liturgical Music since 1985 and has music published in Ireland, Great Britain, and self-published in the U.S. His personal web page is www.kingsfold.com. |
