DAY #4: 7/14/08 - Auckland, New Zealand
Today was a very spiritually uplifting day. We all had a chance to sleep in, which was nice. We actually began today with Exposition of the Eucharist, which was a very peaceful time for everyone. Then, immediately afterwards we had a Reconciliation, which wiped our slates clean. Then after that we had mass, but what was really cool about mass, was besides us there were three other groups besides us on their way to World Youth Day. They were from India, France, Tahiti. The Gospel was spoken in French, and the Homily was spoken in English, which really made us think.

After our faith-filled morning, our group got into smaller groups, to do individual activities. Most of us went shopping, which was nice, because we all got to pick up some neat little knick-knacks. For others, today was just a day to relax, and it is just what some people needed. Some of the more adventuresome members of the group went on a bungy slingshot ride. But hands down the HIGHLIGHT of the day was the magic trick that was provided by Zach Ellis, during dinner.
