Our Ministry for Young Adults focuses on those in their 20's and 30's and is called 20's to 30ish. It is planned to provide both spiritual and social activities.Spiritual Development
Charis Ministries (located in Chicago) provides many great spiritual activities. They have Speaker's Series, Small Group Leadership Workshops, Seekers Retreats (for those who still are putting together religion and life) plus a variety of other types of retreats including Service Trips to aid the needy, Lenten Days of Prayer, Special Masses,

Spirit and Truth is for young adults in their 20s and 30s, single and married, who would like to grow in their Catholic faith in fellowship with their peers. They meet every Friday for spiritual formation, Eucharistic Adoration, and fellowship at Saint Patrick Church in McHenry at 7:00 PM. For more information contact Father John Gow at Sts. Social Activities
Coming up soon, St. Margaret Mary will be hosting a Young Adult Get Together to get things moving in this ministry. All young adults are welcome to attend. Please bring any needs you have along with ideas of what you want to see happen in this ministry. The event will be held at Buffalo Wild Wings on Randall Rd. in Algonquin from 7-9pm. First Friday Movie Night meets at Pauline Books & Media, 172 N. Michigan Avenue between Lake and Randolph in the Loop. Gathering begins at 6:30 PM, Movie at 7 PM. Potluck munchies served. All are welcome.

First Saturday Women's Book Club meets at Pauline Books & Media, 172 N. Michigan Avenue between Lake and Randolph in the Loop. The group meets from 12 - 2 PM (bring your own lunch). Discussions center on personal faith journeys as they relate to a broad spectrum of literature: secular and sacred, classic and contemporary. Women of all ages are welcome!
